70mm Industrial Radiator Caps

The 70mm Industrial radiator caps were the original MineSafe unit, designed to be robust for the mining industry, while providing a safe environment for all employees.

These caps have a locking lever, which prevents their removal before the pressure is released, thereby saving the cost, both personal and financial, of serious injury to personnel.

Note that we can supply a donut adaptor that allows this cap to fit the screw-on type filler neck on many CAT engines. Please contact us if you need these.

The 70mm Industrial Radiator Caps are available in the following pressure ratings: 4, 7, 10, 13, 16 and 18 pounds. Other ratings available in orders of 100 or more.

100mm Heavy Industrial Radiator Caps

This 100mm pressure-release radiator cap is currently in development, and is due to be released in April 2008.

Apart from the standard benefits of the other MineSafe caps in our range, there is an additional benefit over existing 100mm caps currently being used. Current models require the operator to exert considerable pressure to fit and remove the cap. 

The 100mm MineSafe Cap will be far easier to fit and remove because lifting the pressure release lever will not only release the pressure from the radiator, it will automatically compress the spring, meaning that minimal effort is needed to fit and remove the cap.

The 100mm Industrial Radiator Cap will initially be available in 10 or 14 pound ratings. Other ratings can be arranged according to demand.
